Thomas (Taxi) Wilson

Counsel

Mr. Wilson is an appellate and trial litigator who specializes in complex litigation and constitutional issues. He has argued numerous cases in the federal courts of appeals, and has drafted winning briefs in the Supreme Court of the United States as well as in state and federal appellate and trial courts across the country.

Before joining Consovoy McCarthy, Mr. Wilson served as Deputy Solicitor General for the State of Alabama, where he focused on novel civil-rights issues, election law, and multistate litigation efforts. He also worked at major international law firms where he litigated a variety of commercial disputes.

Mr. Wilson served as a law clerk to Justice Clarence Thomas of the Supreme Court of the United States and Judge Kevin Newsom of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He earned his J.D. from Yale Law School and graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University.

Mr. Wilson is a member of the Alabama and District of Columbia bars.*
