Stuart Spooner

Associate

Mr. Spooner assists clients with a variety of litigation and appellate matters that encompass constitutional law, administrative law, and commercial litigation.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Spooner served for two years as a law clerk to Judge Liles C. Burke of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. He earned his J.D. from the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University, where he was executive editor of the Journal of Law, Economics, and Policy and a member of the Supreme Court Clinic. He was a semi-finalist in the Herbert Wechsler National Criminal Moot Court Competition and winner of the Notre Dame National Appellate Advocacy Tournament for Religious Freedom. Mr. Spooner earned his B.A. in political science, with an emphasis in international relations, from Auburn University.

He is a member of the Alabama Bar.*
