Matt Pociask


Mr. Pociask assists clients with a variety of litigation and appellate matters that encompass constitutional law, administrative law, and commercial litigation.

Mr. Pociask is a former law clerk to Judge Gregory Katsas of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, Judge Amul Thapar of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and then-Judge Amy Coney Barrett of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Before practicing law, he was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army Special Forces.

Mr. Pociask graduated with high honors from the University of Chicago Law School, where he was selected for Order of the Coif. He served as student director of the corporate lab clinic and was chapter president of the Federalist Society. He earned his B.A. in economics, summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Mr. Pociask is a member of the Illinois bar.*
